The next drawings series is born to rework ancient anatomical tables of the 16th century various authors. Until the invention of the latest diagnostic techniques, the observation and the study of internal organs could happen only through the autopsy of dead bodies. It was usually the artist to imagine how to draw the living organ form.

La serie seguente di disegni parte dalla rielaborazione di antiche tavole anatomiche di autori vari dal XVI secolo. Fino all’invenzione delle più recenti tecniche diagnostiche, l’osservazione e lo studio di organi interni di esseri viventi poteva avvenire solo attraverso l’autopsia di corpi morti. L’interpretazione dell’organo nella sua forma in vita veniva spesso lasciata alla fantasia del disegnatore.
